Dental Furnace
Nabertherm offers a wide range of Dental Furnaces, and below are three examples of popular models:
1. Nabertherm High-temperature Speed Sintering Furnaces (LHT Series)
These furnaces are ideal for sintering translucent zirconia due to their large furnace chamber and a maximum temperature of 1650°C. The model “LHT 01/17 LB Speed” can accommodate two furnace shelves for up to 15 dental crowns per shelf, while the model “LHT 02/17 LB Speed” can accommodate three shelves for up to 25 dental crowns per shelf, ensuring high productivity. The furnaces have drying and forced cooling functions and can also be individually programmed for all recommended sintering curves from different zirconia manufacturers.
2. Nabertherm Vacuum Firing Furnaces (VL Series)
Within this group of vacuum firing furnaces, there are models like “VL 01/12 LB” designed for heat treating ceramic dental veneers under atmospheric pressure or in a vacuum. Excellent temperature uniformity and fast heating times are enabled by all-around heating of the furnace chamber. Work is facilitated by a height-adjustable lifting table. A maximum temperature of 1200°C can be reached within 10 minutes in an empty furnace.
3. Nabertherm Muffle Furnaces (L- and LE Series)
Muffle furnaces can also be used as burnout furnaces in dental laboratories for simpler applications; refer to our product page for muffle furnaces.
Nabertherm offers easy control for all their furnaces through their control unit series B500. Together with the MyNabertherm app, the furnace can be easily monitored, making programming and operation highly efficient. The touch panel display shows relevant information. The app enables online monitoring of the furnace from anywhere and is available in 24 languages.
A Dental Furnace is an essential part of equipment for a dental laboratory. These furnaces are used to heat treat dental materials such as porcelain, zirconia, and other ceramics in the manufacturing of dental prosthetics like dental crowns, bridges, and dentures. By applying precise temperatures to these materials, the dental technician can control their properties, such as hardness, strength, and color.
Choosing the right dental furnace can be challenging. Factors to consider when selecting a dental furnace include the type of materials you will be working with, the desired temperature range, precision level, and the control unit you require. With Nabertherm's dental furnaces, you can be confident that you are choosing a reliable, high-quality product that will help you create precise, durable, and aesthetically pleasing dental restorations. We at zw nordic AB are the Swedish distributor of Nabertherm furnaces and can assist you in finding the right furnace, as well as providing servicing and selling spare parts for your existing Nabertherm furnace.
